We were lucky for our last singles outing of the year. The weather on both the day before and the day after would drive a teetotaller to seek shelter on the high stool but we played Luttrellstown in warm sunshine and sixty four players teed off on the championship course. High scoring on the fairly calm day off the green tees saw Eamonn Fee win the top prize with 41 points. Our thanks to the sponsors, our Castleknock Tennis Club members, who have supported us for a number of years now. Thanks also to Declan O’Dea who put up an extra prize for nearest the pin in two on the par four eleventh. Next up is the turkey shoot in November, our annual team scramble at Elmgreen. |
