Myo’s took back the Cider Cup from the Laurel Lodge Golf Society on  Friday 12th September at Luttrellstown Golf Club  in a tight sporting contestthat finished 4-2. All the participants (and a few hangers-on) headed back to Kavanagh’s afterwards for the presentation of the trophy and a few celebratory drinks, and yes, they stayed awhile…

Our thanks to the Lodge Society for their hospitality and warm welcome. See you next year for another bout (preceded by a game of golf).

This annual matchplay better ball challenge is hotly contested between Myo’s and Laurel Lodge golf societies with teams of 12 players. 

The Myo’s team comprises of the top 9 in the Player of the Year League (best 4 out of 5 cards after our August outing), the winner of the Captain’s Prize and two Captain’s picks.
