Another Great Day at Killeen Castle | |||
It was our fourth year in a row playing the Dunsany championship course and another great day, despite a couple of heavy showers. The weather generally was good but the course was damp after heavy overnight rain and that kept the ground soft and the scores down, but it didn’t stop Denis Marnane coming home two points clear of the field. There was a good crowd back at the presentations in Myo’s where Captain Jonathan Smith opened the proceedings with a minute’s silence in memory of Kevin Baxter. |
