Laurel Lodge Golf Society took the Cider Cup back after a great match played at Luttrellstown on Friday the 28th of August. The final tally was 4.5 to 1.5 in favour of The Lodge. Afterwards, it was back to Myo’s for our guys to drown their sorrows as the cup was presented to the visiting team. A great night was had by all.

Our thanks to the Lodge Society a great day. See you next year for another bout (preceded by a game of golf).

This annual matchplay better ball challenge is hotly contested between Myo’s and Laurel Lodge golf societies with teams of 12 players. 

The Myo’s team comprises of the top 8 in the Player of the Year League (best 4 out of 5 cards after our August outing), the winner of the Captain’s Prize, the winner of the President’s Prize and two Captain’s picks.
